Hello Again

*IMPORTANT UPDATE*
Just days ago, precious tiny Chesca passed away. She fought long and hard but just couldn’t hold on any longer. It was because of Maya’s Hope, an organization dedicated to helping children all over the globe get proper medical care (among many other needs). Chesca got the chance to survive, the chance to live with dignity, and essential medication to help stave off the intense pain she was in. Rest in peace sweet girl.

Please continue to read my original post below.
__________________________

I’ve intrduced you to this lovely little lady once before.
This is Chesca.  She’s 6.

image

She is just a little girl.  Who likes putting her babies to bed.

image

And snuggling up with her favorite friends.

image

But she has cancer.  A rare and aggressive cancer.

image

It began in her arm, but it spread.
She is a little warrior.

image

Checsa lives in a part of the world where poverty is prevalent.  And sights like these are common.

image

image

Receiving care from a hospital is impossible if you can’t prove you can pay.  Her family cannot afford medical care, yet Chesca cannot go without it. Everyday is a struggle for her and she needs medicine.
Chesca’s family relies on Maya’s Hope.

She is fighting everyday.

image

In so much pain…

image

But Maya’s Hope is fighting too… Fighting to give her all the help she needs.
Maya’s Hope helps many children and families around the globe.
That’s why they are a part of my fundraiser .  I want to support them as much as possible, for all the Chesca’s out there that Maya helps.

Thank you!

I’d like to introduce you to an amazing kid.

He is 8.

I am told he is super sweet.

He is bright.

He wants to go to school.

He wants to learn to read and write.

Oh, and he loves Minions!  Yes, the little yellow guys.

But he gets teased…  Why?

Because of his face.

image

He has such a beautiful face though, doesn’t he?

However it isn’t only about the teasing.  For Joshua the protrusion on his face is life threatening.

Thankfully, Maya’s Hope has stepped in and offered to help raise funds for his surgery.  In the Philippines, you have to prove you can pay before they will treat you.

image

Joshua needs Maya’s Hope, and Maya’s Hope needs YOU!

Please go here to help one of three different amazing causes or donate a little to each of them!  Oh, and when you donate, you’ll be entered to win some money and some bling!

Let’s  band together and do something great today!

Thank you!

Little Princess Chesca

I know many have read about the fundraiser that I’m currently running.

One special reason I am doing this fundraiser…  6 year old Chesca.

image

Look at this beautiful girl! She is so special, and from what I’m told, quite spunky. She loves princesses and dolls just like any other 6 year old girl. But sweet Chesca has something else about her…

She has stage 4 Ewing’s Sarcoma and we recently discovered that she has no further options.  The cancer has spread and chemo is no longer possible.

image

Maya’s Hope funds her care, and has been for quite some time.
This tough little angel has been through so much in her short life.  She has been an absolute inspiration for all who follow her journey… Being positively charming and strong through multiple rounds of chemo, pokes and tests, all while the cancer and her enlarged arm is causing intense pain.

image

Now the focus is on giving little Chesca the most comfortable life possible for however long we still have her.  You see, in the Philippines, you must prove you can pay or you cannot receive medical care.  Without your help, her treatment and pain management will not be possible. And without medication, she is in unimaginable pain.
Please consider donating and helping a worthy cause.
If you want to help Chesca and some other great kids, and maybe win yourself a nice prize, go here to learn more.
